    As a traveller, he came to settle in the northern regions
    South of the vast Sahara desert

    My people are farmers and hunters
    I am a proud tiller of the soil
    Animals skip at my appearance
    Yes, I am a descendant of great hunters

    You may have eaten some of my delicacies
    Like masa, tuo masara, kunu ngida
    But there is more you are yet to taste
    Like gotte, pette, tuo shinkafa, kunu shinkafa
    And lots more!

  • Today’s Women

    Women have always stood among human species. Their uniqueness is a source of universal marvel across world societies. Throughout history, the feminine influence have been very vivid. Talk of Harriet Tubman, Helen Johnson, Isabel Martinez de Peron, Ruth Anku Gbetanu, Ama Duncan, these prominent women have continually raised the standard judgement society have always meted on the feminine figure.

    On this day, I stand with today’s women and celebrate you for your immerse contribution to the survival of the human race.

  • An Independence Day Message to Ghanese

    On the 6th of March 1957, the country Ghana was birthed as a new nation-state. Having its present name inspired from the “Old Ghana empire”, the country is now 61 years old. With rough and rugged leaderships experiences by the nation, it continues to stand out as the hope of Africa in most respects. This is due to the several factors, of which, the reason of God stands out.

    Our knowledge of freedom, thought by some as good and others as vice versa continues to serve as the core of our nationhood. I am of the opinion that, an analysis of the impact of the knowledge of freedom by the Ghanaian must be left unanalyzed to the contemporary citizen of the country. Therefore, whether its been for our good, or the bad, we, as citizens (not spectators) must continue to keep the positive hope up. And surely, we know, that bright day looms on us.

     

    All peoples in the world are equal, but Ghanaian have, and would continually stand out!

     

    God Bless our Homeland Ghana, and make Her Great and Strong!

    Throughout the generations of all who traversed the fields of this university, there have been BUT only one motivation for everyone who made it out successfully and fulfilled.

    That motivation has been the desire and the passion to fulfill their duty.

    The desire to fulfill our duty is intrinsic. And it is good!

    I believe it is time we make this happen; the time for us to begin A New Era for the land and ourselves.

    We are privileged to be handed the onus to set that period in motion.

    The End of Injustice

    Who do I hush out with?
    Who do I ponder the stiffness of life, and the unbalanced hand of justice with?
    Who is ready to listen?

    Everyone is blind
    So do I gouge out my eyes?
    No!
    Does that not sound foolish?

    “The blind cannot lead the blind …” No! not on the Path!
    There goes the thought of an Ancient Man of renown
    They who see must determine the course of action

    But do we see?
    What is right?
    In today, right is subjective …

    But an assurance remains…
    Of a day which comeths
    A day which is very nigh
    When those who see would lead and those who lead would see …
    Yes! That day dawns upon us where those who see RIGHT, would be called leaders (by definition).

    Let our eyes see …

  • Africa Arise!

    Satisfaction has never brought about progress.
    Discontentment is the fuel for development.
    The greatest tragedy any nation could ever face is to have a people who are satisfied with the present state of everything.
    All You see is not all there is, and all there is is not all there can be!
    Progress is needed, and we (as individuals) play the core parts in our progress!

    Africa has a hope, and our hope is brighter than anyone can see!
