  • Merry Christmas!

    Merry Christmas!

The season of Christmas breeds so much fondness for the world, and yet again, this one affords us another opportunity to share as witnesses of the love of Jesus. The love that made a man sacrifice his life for his friends. The love that made God descend into a lowly estate in order that He might gain those He loved.

In this season, let’s be reminded of the power of love and in all optimistic anticipation, let’s look forward to the upcoming set of days with great intentions.

Don’t give up hope. Keep it. Nurture it. It will be strength for you in the coming days.

Compliments of the season, friends. May the blessings of this season continually abide with you and yours henceforth!

  • Something Interesting Worth Sharing

    Background

As a measure to maintain social distancing, commercial cars have been instructed to take just two to three people on a normal sitting arrangements which take upto three to four people respectively.

    Story

Boarding a commercial vehicle which normally took maximum three people on a sitting row this morning, there was left three spaces to be filled (under the new circumstances of COVID 19)
Some four people came, board the car and actually sat in it.
If they were to take, it means there will be a compromise of just one person.
But the conductor and the driver refused, and instead, let go of the four potential passengers (due to COVID 19).
The issue is, the driver and his conductor could have easily compromised with the one potential passenger. But they refused and actually let go of four. This is very interesting because, these kinds of compromise were very frequent and actually done almost always in commercial vehicles in the country prior to COVID 19.

    My Take

This attitude gives me a lot of hope for the change in attitude among Ghanaians.
There only need to be a convincing reason. We can achieve a lot as a people.
There’s hope for the continent of Africa!

  • Today’s Women

Women have always stood among human species. Their uniqueness is a source of universal marvel across world societies. Throughout history, the feminine influence have been very vivid. Talk of Harriet Tubman, Helen Johnson, Isabel Martinez de Peron, Ruth Anku Gbetanu, Ama Duncan, these prominent women have continually raised the standard judgement society have always meted on the feminine figure.

On this day, I stand with today’s women and celebrate you for your immerse contribution to the survival of the human race.

    God Bless women!

  • An Independence Day Message to Ghanese

On the 6th of March 1957, the country Ghana was birthed as a new nation-state. Having its present name inspired from the “Old Ghana empire”, the country is now 61 years old. With rough and rugged leaderships experiences by the nation, it continues to stand out as the hope of Africa in most respects. This is due to the several factors, of which, the reason of God stands out.

Our knowledge of freedom, thought by some as good and others as vice versa continues to serve as the core of our nationhood. I am of the opinion that, an analysis of the impact of the knowledge of freedom by the Ghanaian must be left unanalyzed to the contemporary citizen of the country. Therefore, whether its been for our good, or the bad, we, as citizens (not spectators) must continue to keep the positive hope up. And surely, we know, that bright day looms on us.

All peoples in the world are equal, but Ghanaian have, and would continually stand out!

God Bless our Homeland Ghana, and make Her Great and Strong!

Happy Independence Day to all Ghanaian.

  • Helloo, KNUST!

Okay, so that moment is once again here.
    Its called mid-semester exams.
To the first years, its your first ever university exams. Relax, don’t fall to the pensive winds that would be stirred around you. This exams is simply another form of exams; the difference however is that, examination questions can never cross-bound out of those topics indicated in the course outline. So technically, the questions are within bound.
To the second years, of course, that’s something you must have become used to by now. Give it your best short!
To my fellows in our third year, Woow … We’ve come so far already, by now, I know most of us are so poised for action. Just keep the flow on! –  no negativity!

I salute all seniors, fourth, fifth, and sixth years. All the best in your assignments.
Your prowess is commendable; you would remain an inspiration to us.
    All the best!

As the university launches into its mid-semester period. I would just like to encourage us all to keep in remembrance that, posterity looks towards us … What then would be our mark in it?

Make that mark, its your season!
    All the best everyone!
    Always keep the focus!
